Spinning Classes

Basic wheel spinning – 1 hour - $25.00

• This class is designed to get you started on a spinning wheel – more practice is likely to be needed for a consistent yarn.
• Students are welcome to bring their own wheels, or can use a studio wheel.
• Practice roving will be provided; alternatively, students are welcome to bring their own.

• This class is designed to get you started spinning on a spindle. More practice is likely to be needed for a consistent yarn.

Fiber Types and Uses – 1 hour - $25.00

• Introductory class on the differences between fibers (e.g. different sheep breeds, mohair, alpaca, silk, angora, etc.) and what types of fibers are better suited for particular uses.
